Abstract
This paper presents the structure of THYME++ (Thermo -HYdro-MEchanical ) finite element code developed in LaEGO-ENSG and its interface to gOcad. A brief description of principal characteristics of the code follows by a presentation of tools that make THYME++ - gOcad interfacing. gOcad is used as pre- and post-processor for THYME++. The choice of gOcad to assume this task is based on its modeling and visualization capabilities. The aim of the interface is to generate the mesh of domains, to apply the material properties, initial and boundary conditions. All information is saved in ASCII format in accord with the specifications of finite element code and is used for the calculation. The second function of the interface is the visualization of the results. One finds there the visualization of properties like stresses, displacements etc. over surfaces or along profile lines.
