Abstract
The use of GOCAD as an input generator for modelling partial differential
equations (P .D.E. ) is investigated. It appears that several existing objects
or structures are well suited for this kind of application. However, some
limitations also appear, especially for handling specincal objects needed by
P .D.E. modelling. Further developments are suggested to take into account
P .D.E. constraints.
