Abstract
The strong demand for underground resources, such as minerals, water, oil and gas, linked to the increasing of the world’s need for energy, challenges the domain of underground prospecting. Indeed, methods need to be developed to find these resources and exploit them while limiting the financial costs and the environmental impact. The mining industry using invasive prospecting methods such as drilling and having a major impact on its land while the exploitation, needs the development of modelling methods. Subsurface models are essential tools for understanding a study are. They can be used to define the most appropriate production strategies, but still require a large amount of data to be acquired, and are subject to uncertainties.
