Abstract
OpenGeode is an open source C++ framework for representing and manipulating geological models. Benefiting from a long-standing effort about the integration, storage and management of 3D geological models with RINGMesh, OpenGeode redesigned from the ground up elementary data structures to support any geosciences applications requiring a discretized geological model. OpenGeode proposes a full-fledged and open ecosystem for both industrials and academics to develop their own new geomodeling and meshing technologies. OpenGeode is easy to get, to use and to extend. A complete set of tools is deployed around OpenGeode to ensure its quality and its stability: from continuous integration for building and testing on multiple architectures to continuous deployment for keeping the framework up to date with latest improvements. Research, development and collaborations are promoted by open-sourcing OpenGeode framework and associated platform tools: a scriptability framework for quick prototyping using Javascript and a web-based extensible application.
