Abstract
Last year, we proposed several algorithms to extract all the information contained in a seismic cube : the seismic attributes. In this paper, we present a method to perform a quick and efficient analysis of a seismic cube using a set of these attributes. The redundancy of the input attributes are first reduced thanks to a principal component analysis tool. Then seismic facies are computed using a moving centers clustering. Applied to real field data using a specific selection of attributes, this approach succeeds in revealing channels which was not visible on the seismic data.
