From 2D geological cross-sections to 3D geological model

in: 13th gOcad Meeting, ASGA

Abstract

Since June 1995, the building of surfaces and 3D macromodels of the sub-surface from cross-sections have been improved. We had seen the different data structures (few definitions are recalledjust below) and sorne examples. We present in this paper the last developments concerning the construction of the faults, the construction of the 3D model. The exarnples shown are based on real data.
