Thanks to the funds received from IAMG this year, we had the opportunity to plan a 3-day field trip in the Aix-en-Provence (South France) region, with the aim of establishing a connection between geological features exposed in natural environments and the numerical modeling of the petrophysical properties of these objects, as well as the mathematical methods to describe them or to simulate transfer processes such as fluid flow.
